that define why they are a "Republican" and why they belong to the Republican Women, Federated.
Our Beliefs
- We believe our
strength comes from diversity of opinion, experience, and culture.
- We believe in the power of grassroots political activism.
- We believe our legacy is developing political leaders for the future.
- We believe Republicans are the powerful force for change for the 21st Century.
- We believe in government that requires personal responsibility while protecting the worth of the individual.
(Adopted by the 1998-99 NFRW Strategic Planning Committee. NFRW is our "Mother" organization, the National Federation of Republican Women.)
Who We Are
The Cabrillo Women (CabRWF), is an affiliate of the National Federation of Women (NFRW), which has over 140,000 members in the United States, Guam and Puerto Rico.
The NFRW is the largest women's political volunteer organization in the world and has been in existence since 1938.
We are also an affiliate of the California Women (CFRW), and its Northern Division. The CFRW established in 1925 has a membership of 23,000 supported by 260 unit clubs.
The Cabrillo Women (CabRWF) has a membership over 80.
The Cabrillo Women (CabRWF) is open to any woman who embraces the Conservative Philosophy and is registered to vote. We offer our membership the following: political education, leadership training, candidate recruitment and campaign involvement.
We invite you to join us and become part of an organization that has influence on current conservative issues on local, State and National levels.
Our Mission and vision is to:
Bring together women to positively impact the direction of our Nation.
Come together as a collective force advancing the power of women through political access and participation.
See women from all age groups and walks of life as key players at the political table on national, state and local issues.

Promote an informed public through political education and activity
Raise funds for the Republican Party
Volunteer our time to campaigns and causes that promote Republican ideals

To increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
To promote a wider knowledge of the principles and policies of the Republican Party.
To Encourage active citizenship.
To cooperate with the Republican State and County Central Committees for the election of Republican nominees.
To facilitate cooperation among California Federation Republican Women.
Another objective:
our organization is part of the largest all-volunteer women's political organization in the world, the National Federation of Republican Women.
Among our objectives is to increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
We accomplish this through educational programs to promote wider knowledge of the principles of the Republican Party
and by working with state and county parties to elect our nominees to public office.
I Am A Republican Because...
I BELIEVE the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person's ability, dignity, freedom, and responsibility must be honored and recognized.
I BELIEVE in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age, or disability.
I BELIEVE free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity.
I BELIEVE government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.
I BELIEVE the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations and that the best government is that which governs least.
I BELIEVE the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.
I BELIEVE Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.
I BELIEVE that Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world
The Republican Philosophy
We Believe:
- That individuals have the right to achieve the best that is within them as long as they respect the rights of others, and that this right is the source of our Nation's strength.
- That government exists to protect the freedom of opportunity which enables each individual's creative ability to flourish.
- That government activities should be limited to providing for those things which people cannot do at all or cannot do so well for themselves.
- That the most effective government is government closest to the people.
- That those who cannot provide for themselves should be assisted by both government and society, but every effort should be made to help them become self-supporting, productive citizens with pride in their independence.
- That equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity belong to all regardless of race, creed, age, sex, or national origin.
- That government is accountable for maintaining sound money arid responsible economy. Individual rights, liberties and properties are continually eroded when citizens are oppressed by excessive taxation,inflation, government waste, and over regulation.
- That government is responsible for national defense and that only a strong America can remain a free America.
- That it is absolutely essential to maintain a strong national defense posture in order that we may at all times negotiate from a position of strength, not weakness, in our continuing efforts towards world peace and friendship.
- THAT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS THE PARTY OF TODAY AND THE FUTURE
